In addition to the stunning views, the Broughton Archipelago Expedition offers incredible wildlife sightings. Throughout the journey, our crew has encountered Orca and Humpback Whales, Minke Whales, Pacific White-Sided Dolphins, Porpoises, Sea Lions, Sea Otters, River Otters, black bears, grizzly bears, cougars, bald eagles, blue herons, and a variety of other sea birds. The diversity of wildlife makes this expedition truly unforgettable.
Food & Delicacies
Our chef will delight your taste buds with culinary masterpieces prepared in our ship’s galley, featuring fresh local seafood, hearty homemade soups, and freshly baked goods. All meals are freshly prepared on board using many locally sourced ingredients.
You’ll enjoy a full range of west coast cuisine, with breakfast, lunch, and a three-course dinner served daily. In addition, our dining lounge offers homemade cookies, pastries, and fresh fruit throughout the day for snacking. We provide a variety of beverages, including a selection of teas, coffee, soft drinks, juices, and snacks, available 24 hours a day.
Dinner is served on the day of departure, while breakfast and lunch are provided on your final day of sailing.
Start your day with a continental-style offering that includes fresh fruit, yogurt, and baked goods, followed by a full hot breakfast made to order. During breaks from wildlife viewing and shore excursions, recharge with lunch, typically featuring homemade soup or chowder paired with a charcuterie board or our chef’s daily creation.
As the sun sets, indulge in a three-course meal accompanied by a selection of fine wines and a limited assortment of craft beers. Please note that alcohol consumption is light during our trips.
