Set Sail With Us

Built in 1959 as a side-trawler, the Curve of Time has decades of historical stories sailing the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. After serving as an environmental awareness vessel for Greenpeace, she was later converted to an ecotourism vessel providing us with stellar nature adventures throughout the Pacific West Coast.

Being constructed of steel and weighing nearly 200 tons, The Curve of Time is an exceptionally stable ship providing enhanced passenger comfort.

Interior & Accommodations

Main Deck Cabins

There are 3 cozy cabins on our main deck, perfect for couples, friends, or families. Each cabin features very comfortable bunk beds and charming portholes for a touch of nautical flair. While these cabins are modest in size, you’ll have plenty of room to enjoy our spacious decks and stunning views. Plus, 2 full bathrooms are conveniently located just down the hall!

Lower Deck Cabins

There are 3 inviting cabins located on our lower deck, perfect for couples or guests who enjoy a cozy retreat. These cabins feature double beds—2 large doubles and 1 extra-large double—providing just enough space to get comfortable without losing sight of each other! While the cabins aren’t ballroom sized, the real luxury is in our expansive decks, where you’ll spend most of your time enjoying the breathtaking views. And don’t worry, the bathroom is just a few steps away—no map needed!

Saloon & Dining Lounge

The saloon or dining lounge is the perfect place to relax while we’re on our way. Read a book from our little onboard library,  grab a snack from our pastry and snack area, or write in your journal… the lounge turns is one of our favourite places onboard.

Wheelhouse Lounge

Join us in our Wheelhouse and experience what it’s like to be the captain of this 200 ton vessel. Grab a pair of binoculars and help us scout out pods of orcas, or sit back and watch the captain work his magic.

Food & Delicacies

Our chef will dazzle your tastebuds with culinary delights prepared in our ships galley, featuring local seafood, hearty homemade soups and baked goods all freshly prepared in our onboard galley. Your meals will showcase  famous west coast type cuisine using many local ingredients.  

Breakfast,  lunch and a three course dinner will be served. There are homemade cookies, pastries and fresh fruit available in the dinning lounge throughout the day for snacking on. A full range of teas, coffee, soft drinks, juices and snacks are provided and available 24 hours as well. Dinner will be served on the day of departure and breakfast and lunch are served on your final day of sailing

Begin your day with a continental type offering including fresh fruit, yogurt, and baked goods. Follow that up with a full hot breakfast made to order.

Take a break from wildlife viewing and shore excursions  while recharging with lunch, usually featuring a home-made soup or chowder combined with a charcuterie board or our chef’s own daily creation.

Watch the sun set while indulging in a three-course meal paired with a selection of fine wines and a limited selection of craft beers. (Alcohol is not a large part of our trips, so plan on light consumption).

We serve a limited amount of alcohol on our trips – good wines for you to enjoy with dinner and a limited supply of craft beer. Alcohol is not a focus of our trips. See frequently asked questions for more info.
